From world renowned water colorist Nita Engle to those still struggling, Marquette County has photographers, artists, sculptures, wood carvers, performing artists and more who sell their wares locally and nationally. Recently, Marquette was named a top Art Town by John Villani and a Cool City by the State of Michigan.
