The Section House is a bed and Breakfast located in Little Lake in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The property was once owned by the railroad and housed the section boss and his family. The section house burned to the ground and was rebuilt and has stood empty until Barrow Properties bought and renovated it into the bed and breakfast it is today. The property borders snowmobile trail #8 through Little Lake.
With so many seasons, Barrow Properties wanted to be sure that everyone had a chance to enjoy the “simple life and beauty” that Little Lake has to offer. Therefore, the section house was renovated to offer a piece of nostalgia to a fast paced world for everyone to enjoy!
The Section House will sleep up to eight people per night. Each room has its own unique and breathtaking theme. It’s a warm, welcome and comforting environment for the whole family! Prices are $50 per person/night. The best part of your stay includes a full breakfast cooked on a wood burning stove and served family style just for you! Whatever you’re in the mood for Patti will make it for you whether it’s homemade donuts, cinnamon rolls or bacon and eggs. Whatever you want, you get!
