Workshop will assist artists with their business

The Lake Superior Community Partnership (LSCP) is partnering with the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center to put on a workshop aimed at assisting artists with their business.

The workshop is for both artists who own a business or are interested starting one. Turning a creative practice into a business may seem like a daunting task, the LSCP’s Business Development staff will walk artists through setting up their business, pricing, finances, purchasing supplies and much more.

The Art of Business will take place on Tuesday, March 22 from 1 until 3 p.m. at the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center (lower level of the Peter White Public Library). This workshop is free and open to anyone. Click here to register.
