Job Title: Marketing Intern
Reports to: Marketing and Events Coordinator
Type of Employment: Temporary, Intern, Unpaid
Minimum Education Required: Currently enrolled in Northern Michigan University working toward a degree in marketing, communications or similar degree.
Key Job Responsibilities: Assist the Marketing Department with their day-to-day tasks, including, but not limited to:
- Answering phones
- Assisting customers who walk in
- Preparing eblasts
- Graphic design
- Website updates
Qualifications: Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel and Publisher. Adobe suite experience a plus. Other qualifications needed included customer service skills, written and oral communication skills and organization skills. Must be available approx. 16-20 hours per week including a few after hours’ events.
