š£ļøAdvocacy Update: U.P. Energy Study ā”
LSCP CEO Christopher Germain recently spoke at a public hearing of the Michigan Public Services Commission (MSPC) about the importance of allowing recent investments in our energy infrastructure to remain in place in light of the new aggressive alternative energy requirements put in place under Public Act 235 of 2023 which would otherwise threaten the reliability and affordability electricity in our region. The MSCP is conducting a study of unique attributes of energy generation and distribution and is seeking comments on circumstances they should consider. You may submit written comments until 6:00 p.m. on August 9.
