Posted by Lake Superior Community Partnership on October 30, 2014
The Lake Superior Community Partnership (LSCP) will be selling Shop Local Passports beginning today. The passports cost $10 and are available at the LSCP (501 S. Front St., Marquette, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) and at the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce (910 U.S. 41 West, Ishpeming, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
“We created this passport to encourage the community to shop locally this holiday season,” commented Betsy Morais, LSCP Director of Marketing & Communications. “The passport will more than pay for itself with just two or three uses. All money raised through the sales will support the economic development services we provide throughout Marquette County.”
Marquette County businesses offering discounts in the passport include Back In Balance Massage Therapy, Big Boy of Marquette, Border Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Casa Calabria, Congress Pizzas, Down Wind Sports, Getz’s Clothiers, Lakeshore Skin Care, Lake Superior Glass Co., Landmark Inn – Northland Pub, L’Attitude, Look Realty, Mama Russo’s, MC Sports, Michigan Fair, NMU Bookstore, Oasis Fuel, Outlanders Dinners To Go, PEAK Gymnastics & Fitness, Pride Printing and Mailing Services, St. Charles Winery, Togo’s Submarine Sandwich, Washington Shoe Store and Yooper Shirts.
