Lake Superior Community Partnership Foundation announces new board members

The Lake Superior Community Partnership Foundation (LSCPF) is pleased to announce the induction of many new board members over past nine months. Scott Knaffla was elected on the LSCP Foundation board October 2015. He is a Financial Advisor and Managing Director at Barton & Associates, Ameriprise Financial Services providing financial consulting and planning.
 
In December 2015, Julie Olson, Branch Manager of the U.P. Catholic Credit Union was elected along with Brigitte LaPointe-Dunham, Corporate Marketing Manager at Upper Peninsula Health Plan.
 
In June 2016, the board elected Dr. David Rayome, Dean of the College of Business at Northern Michigan University, Amy Poirier, Foundation Coordinator with Great Lakes Recovery Centers, Brett French, External Affairs Manager for American Transmission Company and David Lynch, Assistant Director at Marquette Board of Light and Power.
 
“We are extremely honored to have such great community members accept the positions on the LSCP Foundation board of directors. Our mission ‘to promote and advance economic and workforce development in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan’ can only be accomplished by everyone in the private and public sectors collaborating and contributing resources to the betterment of our community,” LSCP Foundation Board Chairman, Daniel Mead said. “I look forward to working with them during their term.”
