Workforce Development efforts are through the Lake Superior Community Partnership Foundation and our collaboration with K-12, NMU, Marquette Alger RESA, Careers in Technical Education and Michigan Works!. Serving as an advocate for business Partners, the LSCP assists businesses seeking resolution of governmental regulation, governmental incentives and business to business cooperation.  The LSCP keeps up to date on local, state and national issues affecting business and shares information as appropriate.

The LSCP works with the Marquette County EDC, the Michigan Small Business Development Center, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Accelerate UP, Michigan Works! and Northern Initiatives to assist start-up and expanding businesses. IMPLAN is a tool available to partner businesses.
