For the last five years, The Lake Superior Community Partnership in collaboration with the Mining Journal has published the Marquette County Vision magazine, a spectacular community marketing piece that showcases the best of the community through all original features and photography.  This year’s edition is scheduled to be printed in June 2012.

This annual print publication is the community’s primary economic development marketing tool.  The Partnership and other key businesses will distribute this full-color, newsstand-quality magazine throughout the year to prospective residents, site consultants, new businesses and business prospects – a valuable target market for our region.  Copies will also go out to attendees at various trade shows, conferences and events throughout the year.

Visiongives readers the essence of Marquette County and helps readers discover what we have always known: Marquette County is a great place to live, work, play and raise a family!

This year’s featured article, “Young Entrepreneurs,” will discuss the importance of young people getting involved in local business to continue the vitality of our regional economy for the future by spurring economic growth with new ideas and creating new opportunities.  The feature will also showcase successful regional companies that have recently passed the torch on to the next generation of family members to carry on success.

Other sections included in Vision give information on area events, new business investments, area outdoor recreation, education, health & medicine, arts & culture, facts and statistics, as well as area resources and services.  It is intended to give the reader a snapshot, leaving them wanting to learn more about our community.

Marquette County Vision is part of a complete publishing program that also includes an online edition of the magazine.  The community Web link greatly enhances Marquette County Vision’s potential reach.  Advertisers reap the added benefits of increased exposure provided by the online magazine all year long.  With the click of a mouse, online users everywhere can access the magazine 24 hours a day.  During their visit, readers will be able to learn about the community and utilize various services provided.

This unique marketing publication is truly a collaborative effort, and we sincerely thank all of the local businesses that have and continue to support the project through advertising.  We hope you will consider the benefits of introducing your organization or business to new customers and clients through Marquette County Vision.  You can reserve your space immediately by calling The Mining Journal Advertising Department (906) 228-2500.
