LSCP Annual Dinner

Amy ClicknerThe Lake Superior Community Partnership relies on fundraising to raise money for the economic development services and opportunities we provide. Our premier fundraiser is our Annual Dinner, which will be held Thursday, March 12, from 5:30 to 8:30pm in the Great Lakes Rooms at Northern Michigan University.

The LSCP Annual Dinner is a great opportunity for our partners to come together and network in a casual and fun atmosphere all while supporting economic development.  The event has a different theme each year, and this year you’ll be going to a carnival!  We encourage attendees to dress casual and come prepared for delicious food (think funnel cakes, corndogs, a french fry station and more), bucket drawings, silent auction (including an autographed Green Bay Packers football, hotel stays, advertising packages and more), carnival games and a photo booth!

Partners have a variety of opportunities to market their business through different Annual Dinner sponsorships.  Benefits of sponsorship include complimentary Annual Dinner tickets, email blasts, your logo featured on our website, event exposure and other special recognition.  Also knowing that your dollars are being invested in an Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO), providing critical business services to our region, is a fantastic benefit as well!

There is also the opportunity for partners to sponsor prize baskets for raffles and silent auction items. Prizes donated by partner businesses are a marvelous way to market your product or service and we’ll be sure to include your company name in an eblast and slide show at the event! Funds raised from all sponsored activities make a significant difference in supporting the LSCP’s economic development and community development efforts in Marquette County.

Most importantly, the evening allows us to recognize and honor partners who have made their mark and contributed to the betterment of Marquette County and the LSCP through rigorous hard work, talent, time and dedication with the presentation of the annual Distinguished Service Awards sponsored by the Marquette County Ambassadors.  Two awards will be given out, one for a business and one for an individual, which will be presented to recipients who have continually demonstrated leadership in the community.

This year the LSCP is pleased to announce that Range Bank will receive the business award and Mike Skytta will receive the individual award.  We are honored to recognize them and grateful for their longstanding commitment to the LSCP and our community.

This year’s Annual Dinner promises to be fun for all, and another great opportunity for LSCP partners to advertise their business, network with one another and just have a wonderful time.  But most importantly it’s an opportunity for you to contribute to economic development activities of the Lake Superior Community Partnership.

Tickets can be reserved by registering on our website or calling our office by Monday, March 10.
